CESU Bat Project Featured in Washington Post

A Virginia Tech project designed to study white-nose syndrome in northern long-eared bats was featured in a recent Washington Post article.  The project, funded through the Cooperative Ecosystems Studies Units Network (CESU), aims to improve researchers' understanding of how bats at Marine Corps Base Quantico and Rock Creek Park have survived the disease, when as many as 90 percent of northern bats have been killed by white-nose syndrome in other parts of North America.
