Steve Kerlin, Ph.D., is the Director of Education at Stroud Water Research Center since 2016. Dr. Kerlin’s degrees are in curriculum and instruction with a focus on science and environmental education. He is a former Assistant Professor of Environmental Education/Interpretation and Youth Programming/Camp Management at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Statewide Specialist in Nature Center Management and Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education Outreach Specialist for University of Wisconsin Extension, Assistant Professor of Science and Environmental Education and Director of the Center for Environmental Education at Northern Kentucky University, and middle and high school Science Teacher at Penns Valley Area School District. His research interests are in environmental and science education, STEM education, technology to enhance and extend outdoor education, educator professional development, and inquiry-based teaching and learning.
