Researchers who conducted investigations in the Interior Region 1-National Capital Area national parks during 2020 and 2021 are invited to virtually present a talk (10 min) or poster at the upcoming Spotlight on National Park Resources meeting. This is a virtual event on the mornings of 20 and 21 April 2022. Spotlight is an opportunity for our research partners to showcase their recent findings in NCA parks that contribute to the NPS mission.
Spotlight abstracts are due Friday February 11, 2022 For questions about submission of the abstract please contact Layne_Strickler@nps.gov. Call for Abstracts Link to Submission Form The presentations will be recorded in advance, and each 10-minute talk will be followed by 5-minute interactive Q&A session with the audience. Posters will be shown during breaks on rotation.
All NPS divisions are encouraged to attend. In addition to the National Park staff, the virtual audience is volunteers, students, professors, and park friends’ groups.
